I just want to track what I eat. Not in a “two bowls of Special K, three pieces of turkey bacon…” way, but just to keep notes on what i put in my gullet. A food blog I just discovered and have come to enjoy recently had an entry on tracking calories for health’s sake, and she has inspired me to do the same. Maybe I’ll put pictures up and turn it into a verifiable Food Blog if I ever get a new camera. With that being said:
8:30 AM:
Coffee
Cottage Cheese (when did I start liking this? Who knows/cares) with a spoonful of homemade apricot jam
Piece of Dave’s Good Seed toast (a bread that has ruined me from all other sliced breads)Noonish:
Split pea soup from Holy Cow with sunflower seeds from the salad bar. I like all their food but hate how woefully underseasoned it is
Chai Tea Luna BarFiveish:
Two or so spoonfuls of chocolate frosting.
Just now:
Cauliflower seared in olive oil, butter and a touch of yellow miso on top of
Quinoa with soy sauce, diced orange pepper and chick peas. This is a certifiable Hippie Meal. Not gonna front though, seared cauliflower is definitely the best way to cook cauliflower. Miso does not taste good when it’s burnt though.
